Planted in-front of the old Adelaide fruit market building with hundreds of different kinds of edibles: walnut and chestnut trees; blueberry and raspberry bushes; fruit trees, including apples and pears; exotics like pineapple, yuzu citrus, guava, persimmons, honeyberries, and lingonberries; herbs; and more. All will be available for public plucking to anyone who wanders into the city’s first food forest.

Being one of the only cities with a ring of green surrounding our CBD, why not make use of these outside of just Park Lands. Something promoting community, sustainability and well-being.

Rymill Park/ Murlawirrapurka (Park 14)

Rymill Park/Murlawirrapurka is one of the Adelaide Park Lands most used parks. Its features include the Rymill Park lake and kiosk. It is also home to a playground, BBQ facilities and a rose garden.

Several major events are hosted in the park across the year including the Adelaide Fringe, Clipsal 500 and Tour Down Under.
