Fenced dog park, similar to North Adelaide. Maybe located in south of Victoria park where there is beautiful grass and a tree or two. Uneven surface okay. As an Adelaide resident, I'd love to take my dogs for a run and escape from our town house yard. Running tethered is okay, but I can never keep up with them, love to see them run free and cannot be untethered in park, like other dogs.

Limited suitable dog parks in southern metro area, too small, which is more like to make my dogs feel cornered easily or not sufficiently grassed and can cause injuries to my dogs when the play or run and fall over. North Adelaide is almost an hour round trip to travel to and from and play time. Would be good to walk out the front door to the park and back,

Thank you for your consideration.

Victoria Park/ Pakapakanthi (Park 16)

Victoria Park/Pakapakanthi is home to a diverse range of activities, facilities and events that make it one of the Adelaide Park Lands most attractive parks. The recent development saw the establishment of several cricket and soccer fields as well as a fitness circuit, cycling track, BBQ facilities, public toilets and off-leash dog area.

This park also plays host to several events across the year including the Clipsal 500 and Australian International 3 Day Horse Trial.
