My idea for Park 21 is, behind Veale Gardens, dedicate the park to a series of adventure playgrounds. One could be a Fort themed Playspace where children can climb, run and jump around a replica colonial fortress. Here the young ones can play castles, explorers or bush rangers. Another playspace could be Carnival themed with plenty of things to put the kids in a spin, slide or roll. It's innovative attractions (racing slides, pedal coaster, helter skelter) will have all the kids wanting to runaway and join the circus. Last would be the Maze Playspace. Something for the whole family, the Parklands Maze would be a modular labyrinth with its design changing biannually to keep everyone on their toes. Search out the tower flags or other tokens whose position change daily within the maze making for a new challenge with every visit. Even as night falls, the maze fun continues as the whole site would transform into a laser tag arena extraordinare.

Walyu Yarta (Park 21)

Walyu Yarta (Park 21) is home to everything from ornate and manicured gardens, to sport playing fields and community garden.

Situated on the South Terrace frontage of Walyu Yarta (Park 21), Veale Gardens is a characteristic 1960s-styled semi-formal garden, influenced by contemporary European urban public garden designs. Veale Gardens is an ideal spot for everything from relaxing picnics to grand weddings.
